This article describes transferring a Blue Arctic Hosting account ownership to someone else using the arctic.me Customer Portal.
It is easy to change account ownership if someone else is taking over an account. There are two types of ownership changes to consider:
- Someone else is taking over the entire account:
If someone else is taking over the entire account, please log in to the Blue Arctic Hosting Customer Portal at https://arctic.me and update the contact information for the new owner. Please update all contact information, including the name, e-mail address, and phone number. For more information about how to update account details, please see this article.Make sure you also update the credit card information, if necessary. For more information about how to do this, please see this article.After you make these changes, the new owner will be able to log in to the Customer Portal. - Someone else is only taking over one plan or domain on the account, and everything else will remain under your control:
If you have multiple hosting plans or domain registrations and you want to only transfer one of them, Blue Arctic Hosting must set up a new billing account for the new owner. To do so, please open a billing ticket in the Customer Portal at https://arctic.me. Make sure you note in the ticket what exactly should be transferred. Additionally, we need the following information to set up the new owner's account:
- First name
- Last name
- E-mail address
- Company name
- Address 1
- Address 2
- City
- State/Region
- ZIP code
- Country
- Phone number
- Billing cycle (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, etc.)
After the new account is ready, we will reply to the ticket with confirmation.
